Sunny Steps is a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychologists, clinical psychologists, social workers, teachers, and behaviour support practitioners working with children, adolescents and adults in Newcastle NSW.
We are always keen to hear from people who share our approach, whether you are newly registered, completing your internship, or bringing years of experience.

Psychologists
Registered and clinical psychologists working across assessment, counselling and behaviour support.
Provisional psychologists
Complete your 5+1 internship with supervision from within the team.
Clinical registrars
Registrar program supervision alongside the practitioners you work with every day.
Social workers
Counselling, therapeutic support and behaviour support with children, adolescents and adults.
Behaviour support practitioners
Positive behaviour support with participants and their networks, from core to specialist level.
Supervisors and trainers
Deliver supervision, group programs and agency training as part of the team.
Practice support
Reception, administration and accounts, keeping the clinic running for clients and clinicians.

Sunny Steps provides supervision and training across a number of registration programs including the psychology 5+1 and Clinical registrar program. Working here means that supervision, peer consultation and professional development are part of the week, not an extra.
