Nicole Reid

Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner | Early Childhood Specialist

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and has extensive experience working as an Early Intervention Teacher and Behaviour Support Practitioner in early childhood settings and NDIS allied health services.

Nicole initially worked in mainstream services including school and early childhood settings. She has, for the past 17 years, worked 1:1 with children with additional needs and their families, to help children learn the skills needed to thrive and be the best little people they can be. She has supported children, families and their support systems with school readiness programs, therapeutic programs for social skills, communication, developmental goals and behavioural needs. She has a passion for working with young children directly to build their knowledge and development in a nurturing, stimulating and inclusive environment, and supporting families and children to meet their shared goals.

Nicole is a Level B administrator and is able to complete developmental assessments including Bayleys Scales of Infant and Toddler Development. Nicole is also a Circle of Security trained facilitator.

At Sunny Steps, Nicole provides services to families with children and young people and is available to utilise NDIS funds including behavioural support. She works Monday - Thursday inclusive.
