Mollie Thorne, is a Social Worker with experience in working with children in care, NDIS participants, and individuals with disabilities and trauma backgrounds. She has a Bachelor of Social Work degree and is licensed as a Behaviour Support Practitioner.
Mollie has worked in various roles, including providing individual counselling and therapy, developing Positive Behaviour Support Plans, and engaging with external supports and education options for young people. She has also worked in family preservation, supporting parents and advocating for access to essential services.
Mollie has skills in conducting assessments, creating support plans, and implementing interventions based on assessments. She is known for her person-centered approach, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to ensure best practice outcomes.
Here at Sunny Steps, Mollie will be providing Positive Behaviour Support Services, as well as individual counselling services for children and adults.
