Liz Swadling brings over a decade of experience in disability services, education, and behaviour support. Holding a Master of Social Work, a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology, Education, and Sociology), and a Diploma in Child Psychology, Liz has developed expertise that spans across child protection, trauma-informed care, and play therapy.
A passionate advocate for person-centred care, Liz is a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) and a registered NDIS practitioner. Her work focuses on fostering positive behaviour change through strengths-based approaches, empowering individuals and families to set and reach meaningful goals. She collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to create holistic support plans, drawing on her extensive experience in clinical guidance, crisis intervention, and risk assessment.
Liz specialises in sustainable behaviour change strategies that enhance individuals' functional abilities, safeguard their dignity, and improve their quality of life. Her prior roles have included complex case management and team leadership, where she has implemented and monitored positive behaviour support plans, supervised support workers, and coordinated services for clients with complex needs
