Charlie George

Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner

Charlie is a passionate and approachable Behaviour Support Practitioner with four years of experience working within Positive Behaviour Support. She holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science and a Master of Special and Inclusive Education, specialising in Early Childhood Development. Charlie has a particular passion for supporting children and young people and takes a warm, playful and individualised approach to her work. She believes meaningful and sustainable change occurs when children feel safe, understood and supported by the people and environments around them.

Throughout her undergraduate studies, Charlie worked within the foster care sector, supporting children and young people with diverse and complex needs, as well as working closely alongside their families and carers. Charlie values working collaboratively with families, schools, support teams and other professionals to develop practical and meaningful strategies that can be embedded into everyday environments.

Known for her calm, empathetic and compassionate nature, Charlie places a strong emphasis on building genuine, trusting relationships with the children and families she works alongside. She is particularly passionate about emotional regulation, communication, independence and participation, while building the capacity of those around the child to understand and respond to their individual needs.
