Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner
Aleisha is a passionate and dedicated Social Worker and Behaviour Support Practitioner with a strong commitment to improving the lives of her clients through therapeutic care and evidence-based behavioural support. With over 3.5 years of experience as a Therapeutic Youth Worker during her studies, Aleisha developed a deep understanding of trauma-informed care and youth engagement.
Since completing her Social Work degree, Aleisha has worked within residential care settings under the Intensive Therapeutic Care model, supporting children and young people with complex needs, including behavioural assessments, developing comprehensive behavioural assessment reports, and creating Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) plans tailored to individual needs.
Aleisha also provides training to care teams on PBS plans and continues to support them in implementing behavioural interventions and strategies effectively.
Her hands-on approach and collaborative style ensure that support is consistent and impactful.
With a strong desire to continue growing in her career as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, Aleisha remains committed to professional development and excellence in practice.
